

At JH Family Therapy & Consulting, we believe that everyone deserves access to high quality counseling. Our hybrid practice provides in person and/or virtual services in Alaska and Utah. We offer a wide range of counseling services, including couples counseling, family therapy, play therapy, and individual counseling for adults, teens, and children.

We are currently credentialing with multiple insurance plans in Alaska and Utah. Please call us with your specific insurance plan. Unfortunately, we do not take Medicaid at this time. As an alternative we provide an income based fee schedule for Medicaid or uninsured clients. We also have some pro bono spots available. Call us for more information.
Hidden disabilities, also known as invisible disabilites, are conditions that are not obvious to others but affect that person's relationships or their ability to go to work or school. There are many types of hidden disabilities and JH Family Therapy & Consulting has expereincine supporting children, adults, couples, and families affected by prenatal drug or alcohol exposure, childhood trauma, autism, ADHD, mild intelectual or developmental disabilities, and mental health conditions of all types.

Yes! Children have unique needs in therapy and they respond well to expressive techniques such as play and art therapy. Children also need more family involvement in sessions and parents often want support in how to help their child. We are trained to provide expressive therapies and parental support virtually.
